Life on Mars

Here at Spaceport UK we are getting ready for the re-opening of our Mars base. If you have been following this blog then you will recall that some re-development work has been taking place. The whole complex has been expanded and features interactive environment options that allow you to monitor real time wind speed, temperatures, power production and consumption. Visiting avatar astronauts will be able to adjust the number of residents and heating for the base. When we eventually arrive at Mars for real, much of astronauts activities will be in establishing a means by which Martian resources can be utilised and processed such as water, oxygen and fuel for the return flight home. At our base, avatars will therefor need to run regular drilling cycles. In the accompanying screen shot you can see the supply ship and base through a typical Martian dust storm. We plan to launch the facility soon so please stay in touch with this blog and teleport over to Spaceport UK for news.
