Having captured the vision for astro21c and brought the company into existence with its obligatory website, we decided to take a further step into the unknown by investing in the emerging web 3D technology of Second Life. If you have yet the visit this new virtual world, then let me take the opportunity to encourage you, and what exactly is it? Well from our perspective it’s like having an imagination that everyone else gets the chance to share! The first thing you need it seems is land, that’s really the same as server space if you are thinking web 1 and 2 and then you get to build, and that’s like uploading files if you are still thinking web 1 and 2. The picture here shows our island, it’s a quarter sim, or 16,384 sq/m, that’s a lot of space, and you can just about make out the company flag and our Second Life ambassador Aso Galicia.
